you can’t sit here and expect to be faithful and fully committed to someone, let alone for someone else to be faithful and fully committed to YOU, if you can’t even be faithful and fully committed to Jesus first.
you want a successful relationship? you’ll make time for Him first and let everything fall after. you’ll wait in your season of singleness and you’ll learn to be content with only having Jesus. but that’s if you truly want a successful relationship. you’ll lay faith as your foundation.
because if you don’t have a successful relationship, how do you expect to have a successful marriage? you won’t. point blank.
PS i know “who’s” should be “whose”, however, this quote is not my own. as i said above, i was scrolling and came across this from an account i follow. they share very encouraging, uplifting, scriptural quotes and Godly advice and this happens to be one of theirs. one of my favorite accounts. if desired, you can follow them at @relyonjesus.
