M. Aline

My name is Mickayla, but for writing purposes, I go by M. Aline. I am originally from a small town in Indiana but moved to Texas at the age of four. I moved to a few places (including back home and then back to Texas–which is where I now reside) when I was a child which led to me eventually homeschooling. Around 13 years old, I created this blog and started writing for therapeutic reasons. I didn’t think much of it and continued on with school, graduating at 15 years old. It wasn’t until I was 18 years old that I realized writing was something I truly enjoyed and a God-given gift I needed to utilize. Now, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English & Writing from Liberty University and have published two poetry books, Delicate Matters of the Heart and Letters on a Shelf. I’m also about to release my first fantasy novel, The Invisible Space, on November 22, 2024.

Overall, The Lord has truly blessed me with phenomenal friends and family that not only support my endeavors, but willingly travel through this wild journey of life with me. I couldn’t be more grateful and I can’t wait to see what’s in store.
